Mike Teavee is a boy who loves video games and is a criminal in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the Musical.
Role[]
Mike is a boy who plays video games, play on his phone and watch TV all day long. He lives in Idaho/Suburbia in the United States. He was the fourth person to win a golden ticket. His mother, Mrs. Teavee, has stated that Mike is unable to leave the house, and he has a cat whom he has burnt alive before. He also smokes two packs of cigarettes a day. Mike arrives to the factory with an orange sweatshirt with a black t-shirt. In the Chocolate Room, he is seen recording Augustus being sucked up the pipe. In the Inventing Room, he gets showered in pieces of exploded pieces of Violet Beauregarde. He is also seen as Veruca Salt and her father are burned alive in the incinerator. He meets his own demise in the Chocolate Television Room when he gets shrunken down permanently.
When the Oompa-Loompas sang “Vidiots” Mrs. Teavee sang along because the enthusiasm was so infectious.
Appearance[]
Mike wears a black skull T-shirt with a lightning bolt over it, and his trousers are dark green with light green patches on. He has an orange jacket as well, and a hat in the Broadway version whenever appearing in any scene of the show.
Trivia[]
